Connect and Create
This community-centered coaching program includes a bundle of tested support structures you’ll apply to carry out your vision of academic success. Using co-writing as the muscle behind your might, Connect and Create uses a consistent and dependable system of planning and reflection that puts you in the driver’s seat to execute your academic career, your way. The two hardest questions for academics – what to write and when to write – are considered alongside the question of why we write to enable you to make decisions based in your values, refine and hit your goals, and stay connected to the sense of purpose that brought you into this career in the first place, but gets drowned out by all the noise. In a world where authentic, understanding, judgement-free support can be elusive to find and hard to keep, Connect and Create is the community you need now.
This program includes:
- 24/7 cowriting room and writing success tracker to write in community
- Bimonthly 30-minute group coaching calls with executable strategies, reflection themes, and the support of our diverse academic community
- 3x yearly writing planning workshops (New Year, summer, and fall)

Offered in a package of four or eight individual sessions.
I was preparing my CV for my tenure packet and Lauren reviewed it with a skilled eye and provided concrete suggestions about how I could tell my story more effectively. She asked questions that got to the heart of my work and offered ways to make the full scope of my impact come alive to reviewers. I am so grateful to have worked with her.
